There are several days of talking about the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A smartphone, the Chinese Certification Body TENNA had leaked the first photos with variants of 2 colors and technical specifications, so we know the official launch date that will be the 21 August.
Now CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, shared the official rendering of the new smartphone on Weibo (Chinese social), and this makes us note that the Chinese company does not spend much energy to make things secret.
Looking at the pictures, it is noticed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is not as ugly as it did in the first photos released by TENNA.
Speaking of the front of the new smartphone, the design is very simple and classic, which is typical of the Chinese home. The display has 3 capacitive touch buttons at the bottom and like other Xiaomi devices we have the now-known black screen edges. Top then there are classic earphones, front camera and sensors.
The picture above shows the smartphone in the version with pink and white front body.
On the right we have placed the volume and power buttons, while the SIM carriage is on the left side, even in this case it looks like this is a hybrid SIM slot, but we still have no confirmation, so there may be some surprises.
In the lower part we have the micro USB and 2 grids, but it is not clear whether these are either speakers or respectively a speaker and a main microphone.
At the back we have a single photographic sensor with classic chrome lines for the antenna and down the official MI logo.
But let's go to the technical specifications now: The Redmi Note 5A will mount a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution, and it will be equipped with Snapgragon 425 / 430 and 2 / 3 GB respectively, the internal memory may be from 16 or 32GB.
For the photographic department we will have a rear sensor from 13 Mpx and an 5 front equipped with great flash for selfie lovers.
As far as price is concerned, we know that the most powerful variant will be marketed at 1199 Yuan (~ 179 $), while the cheapest one will remain around the 999 Yuan (~ 149 $).
