The Chinese brand OPPO has officially launched the new OPPO A5i and A5i Pro, two smartphones that focus on long battery life, resistance and reliable performance.

The OPPO A5i and A5i Pro share a 6,67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoothness and good visibility. The 1.000 nit brightness enhances the outdoor experience, while the anti-reflective coating helps reduce reflections. The Pro uses a higher quality IPS panel, offering more vivid colors and improved viewing angles.
Both models are protected by China Southern Glass and Panda Glass, with a double reinforced structure and MIL-STD-810H certified. However, water and dust protection varies: the A5i has IP54 certification, while the Pro reaches IP65, ensuring greater resistance to external agents.
On the autonomy front, the OPPO A5i mount one battery 5.100mAh, with support to the quick charge to 45W, promising to maintain 80% capacity after four years of use. The A5i Proinstead, it offers one larger 6.000mAh battery, always with top up at 45W, resulting slightly thicker and heavier than the standard version.
The differences between the two models continue in the photographic sector. TheA5i he has one 8MP rear camera and an 5MP front camera, both limited to 1080p recording at 30fps. TheA5i Pro, instead, is distinguished by a main camera from 50MP with f/1.85 aperture, improving the quality of the shots, while the front sensor remains 5MP.
Performance-wise, both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1, an 11nm chip with Cortex-A73 and A53 cores, flanked by the Adreno 610 GPU. A5i Pro offers 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, while the The A5i is available with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage., resulting in less performance.
Both models support 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth with aptX, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. TheA5i keeps the 3,5mm audio jack, while the Pro eliminates it, compensating with NFC and infrared sensor.

The OPPO A5i Pro is sold in the Philippines at 9000 Philippine Pesos (about 140 euros).
