THEoppo A56s presented yesterday afternoon has just been followed by the new Oppo A78 5G. The smartphone was in fact launched today in Malaysia and should also arrive in India, while it is still unknown whether it will be launched in Italy.
Oppo A78 5G official in Asia: with MediaTek Dimensity 700 and 50MP camera
The Oppo A78 5G arrives with a 6,56-inch LCD display, offering HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot for further expansion.
For photos, the A78 5G brings a dual rear camera featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it gets an 8MP snapper up front.
OPPO's device packs a 5.000mAh battery with 33W charging support. Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, a 3,5mm headphone jack, and USB-C. The smartphone is IP54 dust and water resistant. While the software side runs with ColorOS 13 based on Android.
Unfortunately the price of the OPPO A78 5G has not yet been revealed but it should cost poco more than 200 euros.
