Oppo F27 5G announced: elegant design with Halo Light

The Oppo F27 5G is IP64 certified, which means it is dustproof but offers only basic protection against water (it is not suitable for immersion and does not resist water jets like the Pro+ model). The 6,67-inch OLED display (FHD+, 120Hz) It can be used even with wet fingers and reaches a peak brightness of 2.100 nits for optimal visibility outdoors. Unlike the Pro+'s curved display, the F27's panel is flat.
The body of the F27, defined as “Armor Body“, is made with a high-strength alloy structure and tempered glass (although the brand of glass was not specified). The phone weighs 187 grams and has a thickness of 7,69 mm or 7,76 mm, depending on the color chosen (Emerald Green or Amber Orange).

Despite not being a photography-focused phone, the F27 has one interesting feature: a light ring surrounding the circular camera island. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, as well as an LED flash. There front camera, integrated into the display, has a 32MP sensor.
Oppo has not revealed the chipset used, but it is assumed to be the Dimensity 6300, an entry-level 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal memory. The device runs with Android 14 with ColorOS standard.

An interesting connectivity feature is BeaconLink, already seen in the Reno12 series. This technology uses Bluetooth to create a local voice connection similar to that of a walkie-talkie, with a range of approximately 200 meters.
Finally, the battery 5000mAh promises to maintain at least 80% of the original capacity after 4 years of daily charging. Support the 45W SuperVOOC charging, which allows you to reach 100% in 71 minutes. A 10 minute charge is enough for 5 hours of video playback.
The Oppo F27 5G is already available on the Oppo online store in India, with the 8/128GB model at price of 23000 Indian Rupees, approximately 250 euros.
