
Oppo has just unveiled its latest series of mid-range smartphones in the Indian market, introducing the models Oppo F29 e Oppo F29 Pro. These devices offer interesting technical specifications and exceptional robustness, aiming to conquer a wide range of users. Oppo F29 Pro: A mix of power and ultra-resistant design
Starting with the highest-end model, the Oppo F29 Pro features a large 6,67-inch AMOLED display, with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. This display offers an incredible peak brightness of up to 2100 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor, accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. As for the photographic sector, we find a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The front camera is 16MP, perfect for quality selfies and video calls.

One of the strong points of the Oppo F29 Pro is its huge battery 6.000mAh, which supports charging 80W fast wired. Despite the large battery capacity, the smartphone maintains a slim design with a Thickness of only 7,6 mm. In addition, the device is certified with IP66, IP68 and even IP69 resistance standards, making it completely waterproof and dustproof, capable of withstanding high-pressure water jets and prolonged immersion. The smartphone also has an additional certification MIL-STD-810H, which ensures resistance to mold, solar radiation and ice accumulation.
Other features include a In-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.4, Dual SIM support and the Android 15 operating system based on ColorOS 15 customization.

Oppo F29: A rugged option for active users
The base model of the series, theOppo F29, is equipped with a slightly larger 6,7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120H refresh ratez. Again, there is a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protective glass and a maximum peak brightness of up to 1200 nits.
On the hardware level, the Oppo F29 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. For the photographic sector, the device shares the same system as the Pro model, with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor, plus a 16MP front-facing camera.

Another substantial difference is represented by the battery: the F29 boasts a still larger unit larger 6.500mAh, which however supports a slower wired charging at 45W. Here too, we find a IP66, IP68 and IP69 certified body, along with a slim 7,7mm thickness.
The company also claims to have used a Ultra-strong aluminum alloy motherboard, diamond-cut reinforced corners and Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front to ensure maximum hardness despite the slim design.

Prices and availability
The new Oppo F29 series will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Oppo India’s online and physical stores. The base model, Oppo F29, will go on sale from March 27, 2025, while the Pro variant will hit the market from April 1, 2025. Pre-orders are already live for both the devices.
The Oppo F29 has a starting price of 23.999 Indian Rupees (around 283 euros) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB configuration costs 25.999 Indian Rupees (around 307 euros).
The Oppo F29 Pro instead starts at 27.999 Indian Rupees (around 330 euros) for the 8GB + 128GB version, going up to 29.999 Indian Rupees (around 353 euros) for the 8GB + 256GB version and 31.999 Indian Rupees (around 377 euros) for the top variant with 12GB + 256GB.
