After a long wait, OPPO has officially launched the FindN5, its latest high-end foldable smartphone for the global market. The new model brings significant improvements in hinge durability, crease reduction and software integration.

Going to the specifications, the new OPPO Find N5 features a 6.62-inch AMOLED external display with 1140×2616 resolution and a variable LTPO refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, reaching a peak brightness of 2.450 nits. The 8.12-inch foldable internal display with a resolution of 2248×2480, also supporting an LTPO refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2.100 nits.
Both screens use 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye fatigue and improve brightness control. In addition, OPPO has integrated Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) and Nano-Crystal Glass for greater durability and a smoother touch experience. Both screens support OPPO Pen stylus, available separately.
OPPO has managed to keep the Find N5 incredibly thin. When unfolded, the device It is only 4.21mm thick, making it one of the thinnest foldables available. When closed, it measures 8.93mm, closely aligning with the thickness of the USB-C port. The Glass version weighs 229g, While the leather version is slightly heavier at 239g.
The Find N5 is designed with the new OPPO Titanium Flexion hinge, using aerospace-grade titanium alloy to improve durability while maintaining a thin and lightweight body. The hinge is 26% thinner than its predecessor, with a 10% reduced fold width and 30% reduced depth, improving the overall viewing experience. The device also boasts TÜV Rheinland certifications for double-folding durability, ensuring longevity even after 100.000 folding cycles.
The new foldable from the Chinese brand is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm's latest 3nm, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage for high-level performance.
The Find N5 also features IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 ratings, offering strong water resistance against splashes and immersion.
The device runs with Android 15 with ColorOS 15, offering improvements in multitasking, AI search, and AI call summarization. The company also improved cross-device functionality with O+ Connect, enabling seamless file sharing and remote access between the Find N5 and Mac devices.
As for photography, the Find N5 is equipped with a 50MP Ultra Vision main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom has always been 8MP ultra wide angle camera with a 116° field of view. OPPO collaborated with Hasselblad to optimize imaging capabilities, delivering richer colors and sharper details. On the front, both the external and foldable screens house a8MP selfie camera, supporting video recording up to 4K.
The device is equipped with a 5600mAh Glacier battery for long-term use while maintaining a slim design. Supports the 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, reaching full charge in 42 minutes, along with the wireless charging to 50W and the 10W reverse wireless charging for accessories.
The device includes Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and USB Type-C audio for enhanced connectivity. The device also features a slider for notifications for quick sound profile adjustments, further improving ease of use.
The OPPO Find N5 is available in colors Misty White and Cosmic Black for global markets, priced at SGD 2.499 ($1.868) in Singapore, with sales starting on February 28. We don't yet know the prices for Europe and specifically Italy.
In China, an additional option is offered Dusk Purple color with leather back. Pre-orders in China began today at 20pm, with official sales starting on February 00th at 26am.
