As we already know, the OPPO Find X5 series will be officially released on the evening of February 24th. In the new Find series devices we will see the launch of the flagship Dimensity 9000 5G chip and the Mariana MariSilicon X chip self-developed by OPPO, two very interesting specifications, but not only that, so let's recap all the teasers and specifications to our knowledge!

OPPO Find X5 series ready to debut: everything we know

The OPPO Find X5 series continues the crater-style rear camera module. The black and white rear body adopts integrated nano-microcrystalline ceramic technology, with the streamlined body being retained as a whole. There will also be a blue smooth leather version for lovers of that particular feel.

For the rest, the OPPO Find X5 series will include at least two models, namely the OPPO Find X5 Pro equipped with the new generation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and the OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity version equipped with the flagship chip Dimensity 9000 5G. The brand claimed that the latter's score exceeded one million, therefore very strong and stable, providing a new choice for high-end smartphones.

At the moment it is also known that the OPPO Find X5 Pro equipped with the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chip will have an integrated Mariana MariSilicon X chip developed by OPPO.

According to the introduction of this chip at OPPO INNO DAY 2021, it is the world's first 6nm imaging specific NPU chip. With its super AI compute unit, it can deliver unprecedented AI computing power and excellent power efficiency ratio for image computation.

This same image-specific NPU chip also includes an image processing unit, which supports 20-bit processing, which is 4 times the capacity of traditional flagship processors. At the same time, it can directly integrate AI algorithms and 20-bit RAW computations into the RAW domain, reducing information loss and generating high-quality image data.

In addition, the OPPO Find X5 Pro will be equipped with an IMX766 main camera. Not only the amount of incoming light, but also the configuration of the main camera module have undergone a significant evolution. Compared to the previous rear camera module, which could only be kept relatively static by moving the lens up and down.

Thanks to the MariSilicon X chip, its sensor can also achieve 3 times more effective anti-vibration than the common one, which makes the photos and videos very stable.

While its front camera is equipped with an IMX709 sensor. The RGBW sensor was first launched in the world by the OPPO Reno7 series. It integrates a four-in-one pixel blending algorithm specially developed by OPPO, which can effectively eliminate moiré. It will also be highly compatible with various third-party chip platforms and apps, which significantly improves the quality of the front lens.

In the promotional poster, OPPO also specially emphasized its excellent backlight shooting ability. OPPO also announced that famed director Jiang Wen will once again serve as OPPO image explorer, partnering with the Find X series to explore the series' video mysteries together.

After personally experiencing OPPO Find X5 Pro's dual-core imaging capabilities, Jiang Wen also gave the smartphone a very high rating: “Bright enough, dark enough, it can help you process colors excellently. Yes, an extra chip is really powerful. "

In general, the OPPO Find X5 series looks really very interesting. Not only for the flagship Dimensity 9000 5G chip, but also for the “dual-core” Mariana MariSilicon X self-developed chip by OPPO and the new generation of the OPPO-optimized Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
