Upcoming OPPO Find X8 packaging revealed, everything we know

Today, Zhou Yibao, the head of OPPO Find series shared on social media the packaging image of the new OPPO Find X8. While the phone itself was not shown, the box contains accessories such as a phone case, a charger, and a data cable. The packaging maintains the simple and minimalist style of OPPO, with the number “8” printed in the lower left corner and the Hasselblad Imaging logo at the bottom of the box. The predominant colors are gray and white.

Previously, Zhou Yibao had summarized the main features of the Find X8:

In addition to the above specifications, OPPO will launch a variety of accessories, including a 5000mAh magnetic power bank, a 50W magnetic charger, and a slim magnetic protective case. The X8 Pro version will also have a satellite communication version.

According to Chinese media, OPPO has announced that the Developer Conference 2024 will be held on October 17. The blogger Digital Chat Station he revealed that Find X8 series could launch as early as October 21. During this event, other products such as OPPO Pad 3 Pro, OPPO Enco X3, OPPO Watch X in new colors and eco-friendly magnetic accessories will also be presented.

Recall that on September 16, a new OPPO PKB110 model appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, probably the Find X8, equipped with the Dimension 9400 processor. In addition, three new OPPO models (PKB110, PKC110, and PKC130) obtained 3C certification on September 12 and 13, all of which support 80W fast charging. The PKC130 is a 5G satellite mobile terminal.

The phone's UI is similar to the current version of ColorOS 14, with Xiaobu’s suggestions for swiping pages. The front-facing camera shows real-time app activity, and the “fluid cloud” has been replaced by a centered “smart island.”
