Recent rumors have revealed interesting details about the upcoming models in the series Oppo Find X8, which will include three variants: Find X8, Find X8 Pro and Find X8 Ultra. While the Ultra model, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, is expected to debut in January 2025, the X8 and X8 Pro models could launch as early as October this year.
Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro: main specifications leaked
According to a well-known tipster on Weibo, the displays of the Find X8 and X8 Pro will support a resolution of 1.5K and they will be fueled by the Dimensity 9400 chipset. This new chip should debut soon on a Vivo branded smartphone.
Both smartphones will be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. However, according to previous leaks from Digital Chat Station, the X8 Pro model will have a quad-camera setup, including two periscope telephoto lenses. This feature could offer superior photo quality and greater versatility in zoom options.
As for the battery, both devices will be equipped with a large-capacity silicon-based battery. An earlier leak suggested that the Find X8 will be powered by a 5.600mAh battery, while the 'The X8 Pro will have a slightly larger 5.700mAh battery. Although the tipster did not mention the operating system, it is likely that the X8 series will run with it Android 15 with the ColorOS 15 interface.
Aesthetically, it seems that the Find X8 and X8 Pro will have a glass body and will be available in different shades, including black, white, blue and pink. However, the Pro model will not be available in pink, limiting color options for those who prefer this shade.
