In a video published on the Chinese social network Weibo, Zhou Yibao, product manager of OPPO's Find series, revealed some previews of the company's next flagship smartphone, namely OPPO Find X8 Ultra, whose presentation is scheduled forbeginning of 2025 together with another model. While no specific technical details were provided, Yibao did share some key features of the future flagship.

We know for sure that Oppo Find X8 Ultra will arrive in Europe, or at least the standard and Pro models will. The company has officially announced the return of this series to the European continent, raising user expectations. But let's go back to the official characteristics of the brand's next Ultra.
First, it will stand out for its slimmer design than its predecessor (Here our review) which had a thickness of 9,5 mm. This stylistic choice will be accompanied by a reduction of camera protrusion, an element that often characterizes high-end smartphones. Despite the reduction in thickness, OPPO has managed to equip the Find X8 Ultra with a larger capacity battery, exceeding 5000 mAh of the previous model.
As regards the unofficial and unconfirmed features, rumors suggest that the Find X8 Ultra could be equipped with a innovative Glacier Battery, similar to the one present in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, with a capacity of 6100 mAh or even 7000 mAh (as mentioned above).
As regards the hardware sector, it is assumed that the Find X8 Ultra will be powered by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 or from MediaTek Dimensity 9400, both latest generation chips that will guarantee top performance. Furthermore, the device should be equipped with a dual camera system, although no specific details on the characteristics of the sensors have been revealed at the moment.
