Patchwall 3.0: via the rollout for the Xiaomi Mi TVs, we start from India

Who uses Mi TV of the brand will already know what we are talking about, whoever intends to approach this world must know that this is the UI for the brand's televisions, who today receives an upgrade: Patchwall 3.0 arrives.

As you have certainly read in the title, the rollout is leaving India but it is clearly expected that it will also come to us. Although the brand's Smart TVs are few (from us), we will be able to take advantage of the update services when, once and for all, they will definitely arrive.

But what are the changes that this update to Patchwall 3.0 brought? Before analyzing them we want to remind you that all the news that we are going to list are those that, in all likelihood, we will also see. We have avoided bringing you those exclusive to India since we don't care much.

1. Horizontal scroll: this is a feature that will interest us too, since it concerns the system in general. With Patch Wall 3.0, navigation through the large collection of content has been made even simpler thanks to the implementation of this feature: it was guaranteed better navigation for have more content tips at hand on a single page. In this way finding TV shows will be easier;

2. Universal search: like the one before, this feature was also requested by users and has been implemented and improved. Now you don't need to know which app streams the content on we want because the universal search for Patchwall and the deep integration with all OTT apps allow you to find content faster and leaner;

3. Design: with this update the user interface is redone. Following Patchwall 's first content philosophy, the Home Page now positions content higher unlike the previous version. The animations have been optimized to offer a smoother experience and one more attention to the selection during navigation of content. Lintroduction of the Mi Lanting Pro font it is another great change in the user interface as it gives it a new and not tiring appearance, as well as being easier to read.

4. Mi List renewed: con PatchWall 3.0, one Mi List completely new is implemented to offer customized movies and TV shows from over 20 partners such as Netflix and related.

5. List of details: this has also been improved. With a click on the image, as for Amazon Prime on PC, it will be possible see more details related to that TV show or serious than before.

6. Live news: all the latest news can be viewed directly on Patchwall. This way you can stay up to date on what's going on outside your home. Now you can watch live news from multiple channels for free and directly from the Mi TV service.

7. List of partners: even if those in the photo will not correspond to those available for us, the list of partners visible on Mi TV has been expanded. From a relatively small number it has come (in India) to more than 20 digital partners for viewing content.
