As we announced a few days ago in this article, the new Xiaomi dashcam is released: the Mijia DVR Camera and today we show you what are the first real photos of the new dashcam.
First of all, let's start from the packaging, white with the Mi and Mijia logo, the image of the room and, on the side, the Mi and Mijia logos, with the various technical symbols that briefly summarize the main specifications.
The package includes, in addition to the DVR camera, a fixing tool to the windshield equipped with a suction cup, a transparent film to be applied to the windshield - super adherent and resistant to high temperatures - on which the tool is then fixed with the suction cup, the micro USB charging (angled) which is connected to the 2A USB car charger (also included), a lever whose use is not well explained and the instruction leaflet.

The design for this small room might not seem like an essential element, but it must be borne in mind that this object is meant for use in a car, so it must meet two needs: to be small and poco bulky and at the same time, allow extreme ease of use.

Among the various features available are parking monitoring, auto-ignition and a continuous shooting cycle, allowing for a more comfortable and carefree driving experience.
Audio is added to the video recording, which has a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, via a built-in microphone. The recording format is MP4 with H.264 video compression standard.
The Mijia DVR Camera is equipped with a WiFi module that allows the creation of your own WLAN, while through the Xiaomi app we can both see what is being recorded and save the file on your memory.
One peculiarity is that the small battery included in the room serves only as a spare and therefore the DVR must be constantly connected to the current in order to function.
