POCO C75 certified by FCC, launch is imminent

Il POCO C75, the next affordable smartphone from the partner brand of Xiaomi, recently popped up in the IMEI database, confirming its name. Now, the device has also been spotted on the website FCC certification (Federal Communications Commission) and obtained EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification. These clues suggest an imminent launch of the phone, which is expected to be the successor to the POCO C65 from last year.

POCO C75 certified by FCC, launch is imminent

According to the listing on the FCC website, the POCO C75 will have the model number 2410FPCC5G and it will work with HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14. The device will support LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity. However, the FCC certification does not provide further details on the phone's specifications. Meanwhile, the EEC certification suggests that the device will be launched in European markets.

At the moment, information on the POCO C75 are scarce. We can expect the device to get further certifications and more details to emerge via leaks and rumors in the coming days. Furthermore, according to the HyperOS source code, the POCO C75 would have internal model numbers C3N and C3NL. However, there is an interesting detail: the code refers to the Helio G81 processor by MediaTek, but we believe this could be an error, since it is a less performing chipset than the G85 that powers the POCO C65.

To recap, the POCO C65 features a 6,7-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It has a 50MP and 2MP rear camera, as well as an 8MP selfie lens. The device is powered by Helio G85 processor and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 5.000 mAh battery supports 18W fast charging via USB-C port¹.

In summary, the POCO The C75 appears to be following the same path as its predecessor, offering a budget option with attractive specs. We just have to wait to discover further details on this new device.
