POCO F5 5G officially certified in Europe: imminent launch?

After seeing several rumors regarding the POCO F5 5G, today the next flagship killer of the Xiaomi sub brand was spotted on the website of the European certification body CEE.

POCO F5 5G officially certified in Europe: imminent launch?

In particular the device of POCO has been certified with the model number “23013PC75G”. We previously found out that the model number 23013PC75G suggests that the smartphone will most likely be launched in January 2023 (ie the "2301"), it will be branded POCO ("PC" in the model number), we have the "75" which means that we are dealing with the "M11A" model and finally the "G", which means that it is the Global variant of the device. Furthermore, as some of you may have already guessed, the smartphone will also be launched in China but under the Redmi brand and with the name K60.

In any case, we point out that in this new generation, the POCO F5 5G / Redmi K60 does not use a mid-high-end chip like on the previous series, but will be equipped with the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ processor; therefore a good upgrade from a performance point of view.

According to Redmi's tradition, the new K60 should debut before the Chinese Spring Festival, while the version with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 on board will be released later in the year.

As for all other specs, it is thought to be the POCO F5 5G that the Redmi K60 will use an AMOLED type screen with a resolution of 1440 * 3200 that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, in addition to a fairly high maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

Furthermore, the new Redmi series will answer one of the complaints regarding the devices of the Xiaomi sub brand, namely the lack of wireless charging. The next Redmi K60 Pro will in fact support wireless charging with 30W power. To understand if this feature will also arrive on POCO F5 or POCO F5Pro.
