Despite the Poco F6 Pro has not yet been officially launched, a recent software update has revealed interesting details that confirm the speculations of fans and experts.
Poco F6 Pro will be a rebrand of the Redmi K70, software update confirms

The update file includes the phone's code name, “Vermeer“, which curiously coincides with the model name of the Redmi K70. This coincidence is not accidental, since Xiaomi never reuses codenames, thus suggesting that the Poco F6 Pro and the Redmi K70 they are actually the same device.
Furthermore, before any official announcement from Xiaomi, the well-known leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore has given hints about the possible launch time of the Poco F6 Pro. Sudhanshu's tweet suggests that the device could be unveiled in June. Going by the usual trend of Poco F series launches, the F6 Pro is likely to launch in India first and then make its way to other global markets.
The device was recently spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 16GB of RAM. We can expect it to present a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It should also boast a large 5.000mAh battery, combined with 120W fast charging, just like its twin Redmi.

As for the photographic sector, the device is expected to be equipped with one 50MP OIS main camera, flanked by a unit 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it could present a 16MP selfie camera. There is also a possibility that the brand decides to change some of these specifications before the global launch of the device.
Previously, we looked at the Little X6 Pro follow in the footsteps of Redmi K70E, although the X6 Pro was equipped with a slightly smaller battery and a charging speed of 67W instead of 90W. This “rebranding” pattern seems to continue with the Poco F6 Pro.
Now it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will confirm these specifications and what the market reaction will be to this new addition to the Poco family.
