The global launch of the POCO F7 it is now imminent, set for the 24nd June, and POCO has finally revealed the specifications of the version destined for international markets. Although the device shares most of the features with the Indian variant, one substantial difference emerges: battery capacity.
POCO F7: Global version will have a reduced battery!
While the Indian model will be equipped with a 7.550mAh silicon-carbon battery, The global version will pack a 6.500mAh battery, as confirmed by the account of POCO Global on Xitter. No official explanation has been provided for this choice, but it is evident that POCO has decided to differentiate the configurations based on the priorities of the individual markets. In any case, both versions will support the 90W wired fast charging , 22,5W wired reverse charging, while maintaining high performance in terms of autonomy and versatility.
The heart of the POCO F7 will be the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 4nm SoC with big-core architecture, designed to offer high-end performance at a competitive price. The processor will be joined by up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fluidity even in the most demanding activities. The operating system will be Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 interface, offering a modern and responsive user experience.
The display will be a 6,83-inch AMOLED LTPS display, with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 3.200 nits and PWM dimming at 3.840Hz, for smooth and comfortable viewing even in bright light conditions. The panel will host a front camera from 20MP, while on the back we will find a dual camera with 882MP Sony IMX50 main sensor with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide angle.
For thermal management, POCO has integrated a 3mm² 6.000D IceLoop cooling system, with intelligent AI temperature control, designed to maintain stable performance even during prolonged gaming sessions.
The design will be available in three colors, including a Limited Edition with double finish back and transparent details. The frame will be made of aluminum, with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, and an optical fingerprint sensor under the display.
The global price has not been officially announced yet, but considering that the POCO F7 Pro it was launched at 499 euros, it is likely that the POCO F7 is positioned between 400 and 450 euros.
