Poco F7 Pro certified in Singapore, global launch imminent?
Well, now the Poco F7 has appeared on the site of IMDA certification from Singapore, suggesting an imminent global release. The device is listed with model number 24117RK2CG, where the “G” suffix indicates that it is a global model.
While the certification does not reveal detailed specifications, it does confirm the 5G connectivity and support for standard features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. Prior to this appearance, the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro models have also appeared in the IMEI database, suggesting a coordinated global launch.
Il Redmi K80 should be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and considering the historic relationship between the two brands, it is likely that the F7 Pro will follow the same path. The device is expected to feature a OLED panel with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, in addition to one substantial 6000mAh battery. Recently, the Redmi K80 appeared on the Chinese 3C certification site, revealing a quick charge from 120W, which the Poco F7 Pro should match.
A real image of the alleged Redmi K80 has surfaced in another leak, revealing a redesigned look with a circular camera island. It’s not yet clear whether the Poco F7 Pro will adopt the same design.
