Poco, sub brand of Xiaomi, has finally announced the launch of the much-awaited Poco F7 series, confirming that the models Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra will be officially presented during an event in Singapore next 27 March. The news comes directly from Poco Global's official social channels.

The Poco F7 series is expected to introduce significant innovations over previous models, taking inspiration from the recent Redmi line. In fact, rumors suggest that the Poco F7 Pro is a revamped version of the Redmi K80, while the Poco F7 Ultra could be based on the Redmi K80 Pro. Both smartphones share several features, but with some key differences that set them apart.
Both models will be equipped with a 6,67-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, offering an exceptional viewing experience even under bright sunlight.
Design-wise, the teasers show that the F7 Ultra will be available in yellow and black color variations, emphasizing Poco's distinctive approach to the mobile industry.
On the performance front, the Poco F7 Pro should be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, one of the most powerful chipsets available on the market. Meanwhile, the Poco F7 Ultra will probably be equipped with the most advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite, which promises further improved performance, especially in gaming and multitasking.
The photographic sector represents another strong point of the F7 series. Poco F7 Pro It should integrate a triple camera system, consisting of a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 20MP front camera.
On the other hand, the Poco F7 Ultra will offer a more advanced configuration, with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, a 32MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
One of the main differences between the two models will be in the battery capacity. The Poco F7 Pro will pack a 6.000mAh battery, which guarantees long battery life throughout the day. It will also support the quick charge to 90W, reducing charging times.
The Poco F7 Ultra, instead, will have a battery 5.300mAh, but with even more impressive charging capabilities: up to 120W wired and 50W wireless, a rare option in its price range.
Finally, both models will be IP68 certified, ensuring protection against dust and immersion in water.
