A few weeks ago we told you that the MIUI development team was working on the release of the new one POCO Launcher arrived at version 2.0 and that the Beta was already in circulation for the various field tests. Considering also the announcement by the company to insert the App Drawer on the next MIUI releases, we can even assume that it is precisely POCO Launcher 2.0 to animate the home of Xiaomi's proprietary interface.
But these considerations aside, it is now possible to download the POCO Launcher 2.0 on all Android devices, as the Beta period is over. Among the new features we mention:
- Now you can add, delete and rename custom application categories. Adding and removing applications from categories is also supported;
- We have made many small improvements to the user interface;
- We have increased overall performance;
- We also fixed some bugs.
We need you!

Among the other functions we find the possibility to perform a double tap on the screen to lock the device such as the ability to lock home screen icons. The search function is also enhanced, which will now show more results locally, while for the dark mode it will be necessary to wait for a further update. And what do you think? Try the new version of the alternative launcher by Xiaomi or will you remain faithful to the classic Home setting proposed by MIUI?
