the Poco X5 we've been talking about it for weeks, but finally the next mid-range of the Xiaomi sub-brand seems close to launch. Today the device has in fact been caught on the site of the well-known Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Poco X5 caught on GeekBench: CPU confirmed

As we can see in the screenshot above, the smartphone comes with the model number 22111317PG. This image also confirms that the Poco X5 will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor on board.
Il Poco X5 then turns out to arrive with 8GB of RAM (but there will also be other options) and Android 12 as an operating system.
As for the Geekbench scores, the device managed to get a single core score of 693 points, while the multi core score is 2113 points.
We note that, according to previous leaks, the Poco X5 will be available in a standard and a 5G version. Of these, the Poco X5 standard version should be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 launched in China in October but with the processor that has been changed from Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 to Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. So a good performance upgrade.

As regards the Poco X5 5G instead, this will be nothing more than a rebrand of the Chinese Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition. This means that the smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, supported by LPDDR4X type RAM memory and UFS 2.2 type flash memory.
As for photos, the device should integrate a 100 megapixel main sensor with a size of 1 / 1,52 inch, together with an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2 MP macro sensor. While for selfies there will be a 16MP front camera.
Il Poco X5 5G should then arrive with a 6,67 OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other specs will include a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, multifunction NFC, infrared beam emitter and 3,5mm headphone jack.
