You will all remember the POCOPHONE F1, the first true flagship killer which, back in 2018, has given emotions to many especially Indian users. This device has a top-of-the-range hardware compartment (at least for that period) thanks to the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Adreno 630 GPUs. In addition, the device has been made attractive to most NERD thanks to a version in Kevlar which allows the body, originally made of plastic (the very low price also depends on it), to be super resistant. Like Redmi, POCOPHONE was a sub-brand of Xiaomi but apparently from today it becomes independent brand. And yes, the question we all ask ourselves is that: now it will come out POCO F2?
POCOPHONE is now an independent brand from Xiaomi
The general manager of the brand gave the news, we can now call it that, Manu Kumar Jain. Through a tweet the Indian announced that POCOPHONE it is in all respects a independent brand and it is detached from Xiaomi definitely. This does not mean that the two quarreled, it is clear, but as happened for Redmi this step is necessary because an elephant if it falls, it is difficult to get up.

What started as a sub-brand within Xiaomi, has grown into its own identity. POCO F1 was an incredibly popular phone. We feel the time is right to let POCO operate on its own.

But what does it mean in reality? What does all this movement entail? Well, it's easy to say. Being up to now POCO, dependent on Xiaomi, all decisions had to go through the flagship house. Decisions that include therelease of new smartphones (even if the brand currently only has one behind it) and it is development of proprietary UIs, for example. Surely the latter case is not what it concerns POCO since not even Redmi has its own skin. But a novelty could arise regarding the long-awaited POCOPHONE F2: from this moment the brand is independent and can decide to develop anything it wants, including the device in question.
This news reaches the bean after, a few days ago, the brand related precisely to this device was filed in China. Never before has the announcement of POCO f2 is near: we expect that the newborn brand will communicate the unborn child at any moment.
In the meantime, we wish the Indian team a good start to their work. Small curiosity: if you go to the official profile of @IndiaPOCO, you will see that there is still no official brand. Indication that that too will change.
