Porsche Design have announced the launch of their latest ultra-premium flagship smartphone, the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR, in Italy. This device represents the third collaboration between the two brands, following the success of previous models. The Magic7 RSR combines a design inspired by high-end sports cars with cutting-edge technology, demonstrating a powerful and meticulous collaboration for the creation of an avant-garde product.
The design of the Magic7 RSR is inspired by the philosophy of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, creator of the legendary 911 sports car, who described his approach to design as “As little design as possible, as much design as necessary”. The device incorporates a symmetrical camera module and a design that celebrates the superior dynamics and elegance of Porsche sports cars. The distinctive central ridge of the design enhances both the visual appearance and ergonomics, ensuring a comfortable and secure grip.
The Magic7 RSR is powered by the new MagicOS 9.0 operating system, which integrates artificial intelligence to improve user experience, imaging, display, and system performance. This operating system provides intelligent functions for various uses, including daily smartphone use, entertainment, communication, photo editing, and professional tasks. It also includes functions such as AI Real-time Transcript, AI Summary, AI Minutes, and AI Format in HONOR Notes, improving meeting efficiency for business users.
The Magic7 RSR’s HONOR Image Engine AI imaging system delivers a transformative photography experience from image capture to editing. The device features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Super Dynamic Falcon main camera, a 200MP ultra-sensitive telephoto lens, and a 50MP wide-angle camera. The LiDAR Matrix autofocus system improves focus accuracy, speed, and tracking range, ensuring crisp and clear shots of moving subjects.
The Magic7 RSR’s display is TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye protection and features the HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield to resist everyday scratches and bumps. The device supports fast charging with HONOR SuperCharge 100W Wired and 80W Wireless, and it packs a 5850mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery that provides reliable power even at low temperatures.
Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform, the Magic7 RSR delivers smooth gaming and multitasking with stunning graphics and efficient battery usage. The HONOR Surround Subwoofer delivers an immersive audio experience with deep bass.
