Just over an hour ago, at an event held in New Delhi, Xiaomi presented the Mi4i, China's new mid-range smartphone. For you we have followed the Live Streaming Presentation and we've already provided you with a lot of details on this new product, but a nice review article is a must, so here's the Xiaomi Mi4i.
Lo Xiaomi Mi4i it's definitely a very nice device, but it's hardware that makes it an appetite smartphone, so we do not waste time and we're going to list its technical features:
- Display from 5 inches with full-HD resolution realized in collaboration with Sharp e JDI. This panel has a pixel density of 441 ppi and is capable of reproducing the 95% of the entire NTSC color range. A particular technology implemented on this display also allows high contrast viewing even under direct sunlight.
- Despite the big display and the capability battery from 3120 mAh which should guarantee a one and a half day autonomy, the Mi4i it's really small in size - we're talking about a smartphone enclosed in a body 6 x 138.1 x 7.8 mm, the same size as an iPhone 6 which however has a 4.7 inch screen and a definitely less powerful battery.
- The rear camera was built with a sensor Sony / Samsung from 13 megapixels, focal aperture f / 2.0 e double flash two color led. The front is instead a drive from 5 megapixel with technology Beautify integrated, capable of shooting high quality selfies.
- Now let's talk about the "engine" of the Mi4i, underneath the bonnet we find a powerful one Snapdragon 615 second generation, a processor a 64-bit octa-core capable of operating up to the maximum frequency 7 GHz. The CPU is flanked by Adreno 405 graphics card and 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. As for archiving instead, we have one eMMC flash memory from 16 GB.
- At the connectivity department, how is it right that there is nothing missing: we have WiFi, Bluetooth e GPS with Glonass. The Mi4i it offers support dual-sim dual-LTE, then you can surf the internet with 4G connection with both SIMs. Connectivity LTE is also guaranteed on our networks but unfortunately, as usual, the band is missing from 800 MHz.
- Finally, the software Xiaomi Mi4i will boast the presence of the MIUI 6 based Android Lollipop.
Here is a rich gallery of pictures depicting the Mi4i under different angles and allow us to admire the various construction details.
Il Mi4i will be available, in the colors you see from the photos, from May, initially only in India, at the price of 12999 Indian Rupees, about 190 Euros at the current exchange, a cost-effective price considering the technical features. I guess it will be my next smartphone!
