The 7 December, the day set for the presentation of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and 5 Plus, is now very close and has really remained there poco or nothing to reveal about Xiaomi's new entry-level range.
As for the previous series we have relied on a reliable and medium-performing hardware that can guarantee a good level of user experience. The redmi 5 will be controlled by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 A53 clocked at up to 1,8 GHz (the first SoC of the 400 series to use a 14nm process technology) and an Adreno 506 GPU. For the Redmi 5 Plus it has been made available the hyper-proven Snapdragon 625 but an entry level smartphone equipped with a Qualcomm CPU is something not to be underestimated if not rare.
On the Redmi 5 we will see a 5,7 inch display (1440 resolution x 720 pixel HD +) while on the Redmi 5 Plus we will have a 5.99 screen in inches but with one resolution 2160 x 1080 pixel Full HD +. For both the aspect ratio will be 18: 9 with SoftKey keys on the display.
For both models we will have one dual rear camera, with a primary 12 megapixel sensor and a secondary 5 megapixel sensor. Also confirmed the software that as you could imagine will already be the MIUI9 updated to the last stable.
In short, we are approaching the presentation with many certainties that are lacking to support only a few real image that confirm the goodness of this upgrade. Fortunately we were satisfied by some promotional videos that are circulating on the net and that show in a clear and visible the two models in the hands of the actors of these advertising spots.
