Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is going to be impressive (LEAK)!

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, Even though it is still several months away from its official debut, it is already attracting a lot of attention thanks to new rumors that suggest significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance. According to a recent leak shared by Digital Chat Station, a reliable insider in the Chinese tech industry, the upcoming chip promises to set new standards in the mobile processor landscape.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is going to be impressive (LEAK)!

One of the most important updates concerns the GPU cache memory, which will increase from 12 MB in the current Snapdragon 8 Elite to 16 MB in the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. According to preliminary tests, this modification results in a performance improvement of approximately 30%. This increase could make a difference in games and graphic-intensive applications, offering a smoother and more detailed experience.

The leak suggests that Qualcomm will adopt the second generation of Oryon custom coresa performance improvement estimated around 25%. The chip is expected to feature a 2+6 configuration, meaning two main cores and six performance cores. This architecture is designed to balance power and efficiency, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from intensive gaming to everyday multitasking.

Another interesting fact concerns the AnTuTu score of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which should be around 3,8 million points. This represents a increase of 30% compared to the best results achieved by devices currently equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite. These numbers not only confirm the advanced performance of the chip, but consolidate Qualcomm as a leader in the mobile processor sector.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be compatible with the LPDDR5X and LPDDR6 memory, ensuring superior speed and efficiency. Furthermore, it will include the support for SME1 and SVE2 instruction sets, which confirm that the chip will be based on theLatest generation ARM v9 architecture. These improvements are essential to support complex applications and ensure an uncompromised user experience.

Qualcomm will produce the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 using the TSMC's 3nm N3P process, a technology that is also expected to be used in Apple's future A19 chip. This manufacturing node ensures greater density and higher performance, while reducing power consumption.

While Qualcomm has yet to officially confirm the launch date of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, the chip is likely to be unveiled in October, following the brand's traditional announcement schedule.
