Snapdragon 8 Elite caught on AnTuTu: Score exceeds 3 million!

The chipset has achieved an incredible score 3.025.991, making it the fastest Snapdragon chip to date. This represents a significant leap over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which clocked around 2,1 million at best.

In comparison, the Apple A18 Pro scored around 1,65 million on AnTuTu, which highlights the Snapdragon 8 Elite's superiority in raw benchmarks. However, it's important to note that AnTuTu uses different technologies on Android (Vulkan) and iOS (Metal), so direct comparisons between these platforms should be taken with a grain of salt.

The results too Geekbench of the chip have previously leaked, showing a score of 3.260 in single-core and 10.051 in multi-core, along with 125 FPS in GFXBench and 166 FPS in the DreamWorks Wild Life tests, beating the Dimensity 9400. The Snapdragon 8 Elite's Geekbench scores are still superior to the A18 Pro, which scored 3.182 in single-core and 7.872 in multi-core in our tests.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite is said to be available in two versions: a standard edition with two cores at 4,09 GHz and six cores at 2,78 GHz, and an overclocked variant with two cores at 4,32 GHz. Both versions will use the Adreno 830 GPU and will be built on TSMC's 3nm N3E process.

The upcoming realme GT7 Pro will be one of the first devices to feature this powerful chipset, expected to launch later this month in China and mid-November in India. The flagship is expected to sport a 6,8-inch curved micro-quad display, a 50MP + 8MP + 50MP camera setup with 3x zoom, a 6.500mAh battery, and 120W charging.
