Quick Charge 4.0 is still locked but Xiaomi Mi 6 wins in charging tests

When Qualcomm announced its processor, huh Snapdragon 835, he also talked about the new technology Quick Charge 4.0 which had to improve the already good Quick Charge 3.0. In particular, Quick Charge 4.0 had to guarantee lower charging times coming up to one 50% with only 15 minutes of recharging, as well as the integration of the third generation of INOV technology (Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage) that can adapt the power delivered by the power supply while also adapting the maximum temperature and voltage supported by the charging device.

As said in the beginning, the Snapdragon 835 processor integrates the new Quick Charge 4.0 technology with a peak power up to 27W, but apparently the charging standard is still blocked at the latest generation. In fact, in the tests performed so far on smartphones that have the pleasure of integrating the new Qualcomm chipset, Xiami Mi 6 is what he can make better use of it the potential of the new charging standard as it comes to one peak power of 24W while the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes only to 18W.

Apparently Qualcomm's statements have not been true until now as the company in a new statement has said that the Quick Charge 4.0 will be available mid-year this year and that will see the light with a new smartphone of which however did not reveal a specific brand and model. Anyway, I like that our beloved Xiaomi Mi 6 is giving you so much twist to the top of the current range so you also join the fans of the new jewel made in Xiaomi.

Let's face it and discuss it in our Facebook group devoted to the Xiaomi Mi6. We are waiting for you!
