Realme, the former sub brand of OPPO, has just launched the new one Realme C63 5G. The device represents a significant upgrade over the previous model, the Realme C63 4G, with some improvements but also some reductions in technical specifications.
Official Realme C63 5G: more power but with flaws
The Realme C63 5G comes with a IPS LCD display from 6,67 in with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which guarantees a smooth and responsive viewing experience. The design of the phone is modern and attractive, available in Starry Gold and Forest Green colors.
The Realme device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which offers improved performance compared to the previous model. This chipset is supported by an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which together ensure a smooth and glitch-free user experience.
As regards the photographic sector, the Realme C63 5G presents a 32 MP main camera with f/1.85 aperture and an unspecified auxiliary sensor. There front camera, however, is 8 MP, ideal for selfies and video calls. However, these specs represent a downgrade from the 4G model, which boasted a 50MP main camera and a 20MP front camera.
Another aspect that has undergone a reduction is the charging speed of the battery. The Realme C63 5G comes with a battery from 5.000 mAh, but It only supports 10W charging, compared to the 45W of the previous model. Despite this, Realme includes a free charger in the box, a detail that many users will appreciate.
The phone comes with Android 14 and the user interface Realme UI 5.0, offering an up-to-date, feature-rich software experience. The Realme C63 5G is India available in two memory variants: 4/128GB and 8/128GB, with prices starting from 10.999 Indian Rupees, around 120 eurosor and reach 12.999 Indian Rupees, approximately 140 euros, respectively. Sales will begin on August 20 on Realme India and Flipkart, a well-known Indian store.
