After presenting the Realme GT 5G in China a few weeks ago, the brand now seems ready to launch a new variant of the smartphone. Today, Xu Qi, Realme's vice president and president of global marketing revealed more details about the device.
Realme GT Neo with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 coming March 31st
Today, Xu Qi, Realme's vice president and president of global marketing has indeed confirmed that the Realme GT Neo will be officially launched on March 31st and that it will arrive with a completely new design. Furthermore, it has also been confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
Recall that the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is a 6nm manufacturing process chipset which consists of a Cortex-A78 main core running at 3.0GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz; all supported by a Mali-G77 MC9 graphics card.
Realme also shared a poster, which reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with a rectangular-shaped camera module with the typical “DARE TO LEAP” writing on the back.
In any case, recently a Realme device with model number RMX3116 appeared on TENAA. This was equipped with a 6,55-inch display and with two 2200mAh batteries, so a total of 4400mAh and will come with support for 65W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to run on the Android 12 operating system.
