Realme GT Neo5 SE certified on TENAA: it will be the competitor of the Redmi Note 12T

Immediately after the release of the news on Qualcomm's new chip, one of the smartphones that should equip it appeared on the Chinese certification site TENAA.

Realme GT Neo5 SE certified on TENAA: it will be the competitor of the Redmi Note 12T

The device in question is the Realme GT Neo5 SE, which should be launched in early April. As for its specifications, the smartphone should come with a flat-type screen and a hole in the top center for the front camera. This is the same screen that we find on board the OnePlus Ace 2V produced by the Chinese company Tianma. A panel with 1.5K resolution OLED material, which supports a refresh rate of 144Hz and PWM dimming at 2160Hz. All that remains is to see if the plastic border between the screen and the back will be replaced by a metal border like on the OnePlus Ace 2V. Most likely however, the Realme smartphone which belongs to a cheaper range should integrate a frame with thicker edges than the OnePlus device.

As for the other specifications, the Realme GT Neo5 SE will have a rear camera similar if not identical to the one we find on the GT Neo5 without the LED light strip, therefore a simpler design. Specifically the rear camera setup is expected to include a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

In terms of battery and charging, the Realme device should integrate a large 5500 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

Finally, given that the devices released this year by OPPO's sub-brands (such as Realme and OnePlus) all have large storage specific strengths. It is estimated that this GT Neo5 SE adopts the same market strategy.

We also recall that the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen1 processor has very good parameters and benchmark scores, so much so that some call it Snapdragon 8+ – jokingly. It is certainly a chip that will disturb the price range that now uses MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processors.
