Realme is preparing to unveil its new flagship, the Realm GT7, with an official launch scheduled for 23 April in China. In anticipation of the event, the brand has released exciting details about the device’s display and design, reinforcing the focus on its innovative and performance-oriented nature. Additionally, data on the Geekbench score has emerged, confirming the device’s top-notch specifications.
Realme GT7 Coming Next Week With Dimensity 9400+, 7200mAh Battery
Realme has confirmed that the GT7 will have a modern and elegant design. The device features a completely flat panel with extremely thin edges, just 1,3 mm, offering an edge-to-edge viewing experience. The front will house a BOE Q10 OLED display, while on the back there will be a configuration dual camera with a 50 megapixel main sensor with OIS support, an LED flash, and an as yet unspecified sensor.
The device will be available in three eye-catching colors: black, blue and white, ensuring options for all tastes. Weighing just 203 grams and a thickness of 8,25 mm, the Realme GT7 stands out for its slim profile and portability, without compromising on robustness thanks to the IP68 / 69 certification.
One of the key features of the Realme GT7 is its 10-inch BOE Q6,8 OLED display. With a resolution of 1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate, the panel ensures sharp images and extraordinary fluidity, ideal for gaming and entertainment. The brightness level reaches 1.000 nits in manual mode, while the global peak reaches 1.800 nits, making it perfect for outdoor use.
An industry first is the introduction of the industry-first 4.608Hz high-frequency PWM dimming system, which ensures eye safety and flicker-free viewing even in low-light conditions. The screen is also protected by Crystal Armour Glass by Realme, designed to resist scratches and drops. Other features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and compatibility with wet hands or gloves.
As for performance, according to Geekbench the Realme GT7 (model code RMX6688) will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus processor, a recently announced flagship platform. The device will offer up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring high performance and optimal storage capacity. The operating system will be Android 15, ensuring an up-to-date and smooth software experience.
The GT7 will have a battery from 7200 mAh, one of the most capacious in its category, with support for 100W wired fast charging and bypass charging, which allows you to use the device while charging without overheating it.
Realme has announced that the GT7 will be priced at under 3.000 yuan (about $410 / €375), making it extremely competitive in the flagship segment.
