The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has today released the new GT7. The device is a cheaper version of the Realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition, while retaining many of the flagship features.
Realme GT7 launched in China: Dimensity 9400+ and 7200mAh battery
The Realme GT7 is powered by Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which provides significant improvements in CPU and NPU performance. The hardware is paired with memory configurations that include 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. This combination ensures optimal fluidity even during multitasking and the most demanding operations.
The device is equipped with a large 6,8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 2,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel is not an LTPO type, but it offers a maximum brightness of 1.800 nits and supports HDR technology, with 10-bit color reproduction. In addition, the display uses DC and PWM brightness control, reducing eye fatigue during prolonged use.
One of the strong points of the GT7 is the battery 7200mAh, a remarkable capacity that exceeds that of the GT7 Pro (6.500 mAh). Thanks to the 100W Super Flash Charge technology, the device can reach 5% charge in just one minute, enough to start the phone and handle urgent calls. The battery also supports the second generation of bypass charging, which allows you to power the phone directly from the socket without affecting battery life. During use, one graphene layer and a conductive glass fiber backing structure improve heat dissipation, while the “industry’s largest vapor chamber” helps keep chipset temperatures low.
The photographic compartment of the GT7 includes a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX896) with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens (OmniVision OV08D10). In front we find one 16 MP camera.
The Realme GT7 includes advanced connectivity features, such as dual 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an IR emitter. Other features include stereo speakers, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and an IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.
The Realme GT7 is available in China in three elegant colorways: Graphene Snow, Graphene Ice and Graphene NightMemory configurations and prices are as follows:
- 12 GB + 256 GB at 2.600 yuan (about 310 euros).
- 16 GB + 256 GB at 2.900 yuan (about 340 euros).
- 12 GB + 512 GB at 3.000 yuan (about 355 euros).
- 16 GB + 512 GB at 3.300 yuan (about 390 euros).
- 16 GB + 1 TB at 3.800 yuan (about 450 euros).
