
Realme has just unveiled the Neo7 SE, an innovative device that marks the debut of the MediaTek's Dimensity 8400-Max chipset. This smartphone, designed specifically for gaming, is equipped with a huge battery, an advanced cooling system and optimizations driven by artificial intelligence. Let's start with the beating heart of the Neo7 SE, that is the MediaTek's Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, built on a 4nm process. The octa-core CPU includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 3,25GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2,0GHz, while the Mali-G720 GPU ensures excellent graphics performance. The device supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, with dynamic memory expansion of an additional 12GB, and offers up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. To keep performance at its peak, the Neo 7 SE features a 7700mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

The Realme Neo 7 SE boasts a display from 6,78 inches with 1.5K resolution, a pixel density of 450 PPI and a peak brightness of 6000 nits. The ultra-thin bezels of just 1,49 mm offer a screen-to-body ratio of 93,9%, ensuring an immersive visual experience. The display supports a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, making it ideal for the most demanding games. With 10,7 billion colors and a 3% DCI-P100 color gamut, the Neo 7 SE delivers stunning, vibrant visuals. While for eye protection, features such as hardware-level DC dimming, TÜV Rheinland certification for intelligent eye protection, and AI optimizations are included.

The Neo7 SE runs on Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15, with AI optimizations like AI Portal 2.0 and Fluid Cloud. The gaming experience is further enhanced with theDeepSeek AI Assistant, which introduces one-tap “Ultra Combo” ability activation and automatic optimization for open-world RPGs.
As for photography, the Neo7 SE is equipped with a 882MP Sony IMX50 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), supporting 4K video recording at 60fps and 240fps slow-motion recording in 720p. The main camera is flanked by a 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 112° field of view. For selfies, there is a 16MP Sony sensor with AI features for portraits and night photography.

It supports 80W smart fast charging, with Realme claiming that the Honor of Kings game can run at 120fps for up to 7,6 hours on a single charge. The device also supports bypass charging, which reduces heat generation while gaming.
The Neo7 SE boasts IP69, IP68 and IP66 certifications, making it resistant to high-pressure water jets and immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. It features Crystal Armor glass for drop resistance and is the first in the Realme lineup to support gloved touch, wet hand touch, and use inside waterproof bags.
