Realme Note 50 officially anticipated: specifications and launch date revealed

Realme, the well-known Chinese smartphone brand, is about to launch a new series of devices called Realme Notes. The first model in this range will be the Realm Note 50, that will be officially presented on January 23rd in the Philippines. It is a low-end smartphone, which partly incorporates the characteristics of the Realme C51, but with some differences.

The Realme Note 50 will have a IPS LCD display from 6,74 in with HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, which should guarantee good fluidity in animations and navigation. The processor will be a Unisoc T612, an octa-core chip with 12nm architecture and Mali-G52 GPU, which should offer enough performance for daily operations and some light gaming. The memory RAM will be 4 GBwhile its storage space will be 64GB, expandable via microSD.

La battery will be a large 5.000 mAh unit, which promises excellent autonomy, but which will have to be satisfied with one charging at just 10W, lower than the 33 W of the Realme C51. The operating system will be Android 13, in the Go version optimized for devices with less than 2 GB of RAM, customized with the Realme UI T Edition interface.

Realm Note 50

As for the photographic sector, the Realme Note 50 will have a dual rear camera, with a 13 MP main sensor e a 0,08 MP secondary, probably dedicated to depth of field. There front camera will instead be 5 MP, integrated into a teardrop notch on the display. Other features include side fingerprint sensor, 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C port, audio jack from 3,5 mm and IP54 certification for dust and water resistance.

The Realme Note 50 will be available in two colors, Sky Blue and Midnight Black, and will have a launch price of 3.599 PHP, equivalent to approximately 59 euros at the current exchange rate. This is a very competitive price, making it one of the cheapest on the market. At the moment it is not known whether the Realme Note 50 will also arrive in other countries, but it is likely that the brand will also offer it in other regions, perhaps with some changes in name or specifications.
