Design and Construction
The Degrii Zima Pro has an elegant and modern design, with a sturdy structure that promises durability over time. It is built with high-quality materials that stand up well to chlorinated water and outdoor conditions. The compact size and relatively light weight make the robot easy to transport and handle.
The filters are accessed from the upper doors. There are two for a total of 6.5L and allow you to capture parts up to 180 microns and have enough capacity to cover many washes. In addition there are gods activated carbon filters which guarantee greater hygiene and prevent any bad odors.
Cleaning is made effective by eight reels available, 4 per side. The outermost rollers are made of sponge for scrubbing the surface, while the internal ones are made of silicone for brushing.
But the real "genius" of this product is certainly the floating battery. In fact the robot does not need a direct power supply, but is completely wireless and works with one 10.000mAh battery which guarantees 210 minutes of battery life. The battery body is not integrated into the robot, but floats on the surface connected to the robot with a 3,5m cable. It also acts as a control panel with the buttons necessary to start the main functions: start/stop and mode choice.
In this new 2024 version, the lower part has been improved to ensure even better robustness and durability. As well as the rollers which have been improved and offer a 20% improvement in cleaning.
Installation and Configuration
The installation was very simple. The instruction manual is clear and detailed, and initial setup takes just a few minutes. All we need to do is pair our Zima Pro with theapplication of Degrii to set the characteristics of our swimming pool: size, shape, material and type of bottom.
From this moment we just need to immerse the robot and start cleaning via the control panel located on the floating battery or via the same application which allows us greater customization by also choosing the maximum duration of the work.
Once the work is completed, or when we force it to return, the robot will approach the wall to rise to the surface and be easily recovered.
Performances
The performance of the Degrii Zima Pro is impressive. With powerful 250W motors and efficient brushes, the robot is able to effectively clean both the bottom and the walls of the pool. Don't be fooled by the fact that it uses a battery, in fact the performance is comparable to traditional corded robots. Even in my tests, I found very small material in the filters that had instead escaped the previous cleaning with a classic robot.
Thanks to yours advanced ultrasonic sensors, navigates intelligently, avoiding obstacles and ensuring complete surface coverage in much shorter times than classic robots. The suction technology is powerful, capturing debris of various sizes, from leaves to the smallest grains of sand.
