Yesterday afternoon, Xiaomi announced through its official Facebook page that the first batch from 5000 unit of the entry-level Xiaomi Redmi for sale in Singapore has gone Low in record time: 8 minutes and 4 seconds!
The Xiaomi Redmi, for those who lost it, is nothing but the Xiaomi Hongmi launched last year by the Pechino company to cope with the price war that was triggering within the Chinese market. Why Singapore? Because Xiaomi has chosen him as the first official step in his global expansion market.
Nothing new, it's typical of Xiaomi to offer only a limited number of models during sales days, which, moreover, often translate into real news [like this eh!].
