The gaming tablet Red Magic Nova has made its global debut after launching in China earlier this month. Red Magic claims this is the best triple-A gaming tablet thanks to a combination of a powerful chipset, a capable display, a large battery, and sophisticated passive and active cooling.

Inside the Red Magic Nova we find the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition, a higher-clocked version of the SoC with a 4GHz Cortex-X3,4 main core and a GPU running at 1GHz. This chipset is currently the best in terms of performance in the Android world, comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy.
While Samsung devices rely on passive cooling, the Red Magic Nova introduces a 9-layer cooling system culminating in a 20.000 RPM turbofan. Between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the fan is a heat pipe, an air duct, a heat dissipation alloy, graphene, copper foil, thermal gel, motherboard copper foil and an aviation aluminum body. Red Magic claims that this elaborate system reduces core temperatures by 25°C.
The tablet is powered by a battery 10.100mAh with support for the quick charge from 80W. Red Magic says they can expect 10 hours of gaming and nearly 19 hours of regular use.
Il fully metal body of Red Magic Nova presents a tCNC machined central frame, a 45-degree anti-slip chamfer and an anodized back cover. The tablet weighs 520g and is 7,3mm thick. The Color options include Midnight Black and Silver.
Il display is a 10,9-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2880x1800px, a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 840Hz touch sampling. There is a 20MP front camera and a single 50MP rear camera.
The Red Magic Nova is available for pre-order from October 7th on redmagic.gg and general sales will begin on October 16. The price starts at 499 euros for the 12GB + 256GB model and up to 649 euros for the 16GB + 512GB version.
