Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, seems quite active in India in the last few days, so here after having presented the Redmi 8A Dual, or a variant of the Redmi 8A but with dual cameras, now the brand has instead launched two new power banks.
Redmi 10000mAh PowerBank and 20000mAh PowerBank presented in India
The two power banks both arrive with a fairly minimal design and in two colors: black and white. The main differences are the total battery capacity, 10000mAh on the first and 20000mAh on the second, in addition to the various charging powers.
But let's start with the 10000mAh power bank. The device adopts two USB Type-A ports or the most ordinary ones, together with a microUSB port and a USB Type-C port (the reversible one). As for the supported power instead, we have a maximum of 10W (5,1V-2,4A single port output, 5,1V-2,6A output on two ports). The power bank uses very advanced twelve-layer protection to avoid chip short-circuits; while the internal 10000mAh battery uses Li-Polymer technology.
The Redmi 10000mAh PowerBank will be sold in India at the price of 799 Rupees starting from February 18th (around 10 €).
Switching to the Redmi 20000mAh PowerBank, this supports two-way charging up to a maximum power of 18W (5V 2,1A / 9V 2,1A / 12V 1,5A). Here too we have two USB Type-A ports, one microUSB and one USB Type-C (the reversible one), in addition to the very advanced twelve-layer protection to avoid chip short circuits
The price for the version with 20000mAh capacity doubles to 1499 Rupees, therefore about 20 euros at the current exchange rate. The device will go on sale from February 18.
