Redmi 11A certified by IMDA: is the Global version coming soon?
In any case, the IMDA certification suggests that the Redmi 11A will not only be launched in China but also in other markets, including Italy. The smartphone will therefore be the successor to the Redmi 10A and should bring some noticeable improvements.
As for the specs, as mentioned earlier the Redmi 11A appeared on TENAA recently, thus unveiling some key specs. According to the Chinese certification page, the upcoming smartphone should sport an IPS LCD display with a diagonal of 6,7 inches and HD+ resolution. The phone is expected to be powered by an octa core processor with a frequency of 2,0GHz coupled with 2GB/4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The internal storage could be further expandable via a microSD card.
As for power, the upcoming Redmi 11A is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery, which should have support for standard speed charging.
Photography-wise, the phone is expected to feature a dual 50MP camera on the back. The front is also said to house a 50MP lens, but we're currently unsure how accurate that information is.
Otherwise, the Redmi 11A is likely to arrive with the Android 12 operating system, which should come with a custom MIUI skin out of the box.
