Il redmi 12, the latest addition to Xiaomi's entry-level device series, has been spotted on the Xiaomi Store Portugal before the official launch event. The report comes, as often happens, from the developer Kacper Skrzypek on Twitter. This smartphone, which offers entry-level hardware specifications at a very affordable price, is also raising high expectations among users due to its design that deviates a bit from the mainstream.
Redmi 12 features
The Redmi 12 will be presented during the official launch event, but its specifications have already been revealed. The device is equipped with a 6,79″ FHD+ (1080×2400) AMOLED display at 90Hz and a processor MediaTek Helio G88 (built at 12nm) with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The camera setup is triple, with a 50 megapixel, an ultrawide from 8 megapixel, a macro from 2 megapixel and a selfie camera from 8 megapixel. The Redmi 12 is also equipped with a Li-Po battery of 5000mAh with 18W fast charging support.
The device will be available in a 4GB – 8GB of RAM and a 128GB – 256GB configuration. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Type-C support. The Redmi 12 will be ready to use with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The Redmi 12 will be available in Silver, Blue and Black color variants, with a starting price of € 209. The pre-order notification option is already available on the Xiaomi Store Portugal, which allows you to be notified when stocks are available.
It goes without saying that it is not certain that this will be the price for Italy just as we are not sure when it will be officially released in our country.
