Redmi 13X certified by SIRIM: will it be a rebrand of the Redmi 13 4G?

Xiaomi is preparing to further expand its smartphone offerings with the arrival of the Redmi 13X, recently certified in the SIRIM database in Malaysia. This sighting suggests that the official debut of the device could be imminent. The appearance follows a previous listing of the model in the GSMA telecommunications database back in January, confirming its existence and planned launch.

Redmi 13X certified by SIRIM: will it be a rebrand of the Redmi 13 4G?

One interesting fact we note is that the Redmi 13X shares the same model number as the Redmi 13 4G, a detail also highlighted by the SIRIM certification itself. This indicates that the two devices are essentially identical, a strategy not new to Xiaomi, which often rebrands its smartphones for different markets. For example, the Redmi Note 11 SE launched in India in 2022 was nothing more than a rebadged version of the previous year’s Redmi Note 10S. Therefore, the Redmi 13X seems to be following a similar path, presenting itself as a revised version of an existing model but with a new name.

Redmi 13X rumors suggest a device with interesting features. The phone is expected to come with a IPS LCD display from 6,79 in with Full HD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. This configuration guarantees good visual quality and adequate fluidity for everyday use, ranging from streaming to casual gaming.

The beating heart of the device will probably be the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset, a processor designed to deliver solid performance without sacrificing energy efficiency. Accompanied by a generously sized 5.030mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, the Redmi 13X promises to be a reliable companion for a full day of uninterrupted use.

As for photography, the sector will be equally competitive: a main camera from 108MP promises to capture detailed and bright images, while the front camera from 13MP It will be ideal for quality selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi hasn't officially announced a launch date for the Redmi 13X yet, but the approval of certifications, including SIRIM certification, suggests that the device could make its debut in the coming weeks.
