Just yesterday we talked about how the Indian one is one of the peoples who most like Xiaomi and how in a few days they managed to buy more than 5,3 million products between smartphones, TVs and smart accessories. Redmi 8: The Indian Youtuber shows us a preview

The Redmi 8 that we see in the video of the Indian Youtuber Salimbaba does not seem to differ much from Redmi 8A presented in India a few weeks ago. The two smartphones in fact resemble each other in terms of design and internal specifications, which could turn up their noses at those who expected a more performing device.

What specifics are we talking about? Well, first of all the new Redmi 8 equips a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, so the same as the cheaper version, this time coupled however with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.

Even the display does not seem to change with an 6.22 inch diagonal panel and HD + resolution, covered in Corning Gorilla 5 for resistance to scratches and shocks on a par with the various flagships currently on the market.

Where we see the first and perhaps only real difference is on the back, the eighth generation of the entry-level king adopts in fact two cameras, against the single of the younger brother, with resolution of 12MP for the primary and 2MP for the secondary, which unless updated, it seems to be a simple depth of field sensor, used to take pictures with the bokeh effect (blur).

Finally, as for the Redmi 8A, also the new Redmi 8, its strength lies in the battery / recharge compartment. The smartphone adopts an 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging 18W (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 standard); a technology hard to find in the low end. We also have a modern USB Type-C port, to recharge the smartphone without having to worry about placing the plug in the correct side.

As for the price, the Youtube has made us understand that it could cost on the 7500 Indian rupees, or on the 97 euros at the current exchange rate.
