Despite the hype aroused by terminals such as the Mi Mix alpha and the brand new Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G, the enthusiasm for entry level devices is always skyrocketing. We have from poco tried the base of the Redmi range, the 7A model of which I leave you here the review, and here comes a new economic smartphone that improves some aspects.
We are talking about Redmi 8, which is getting closer to debut: these days we have witnessed the rumors leaked by the Chinese body TENAA with lots of images of the terminal, and now here comes new confirmations on the upcoming debut of Redmi 8 that appeared on Google Play Console.

Some device specifications are confirmed, such as the processor that will animate the new entry level. According to the card on Google Play Console, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC will be the protagonist at the hardware level. A rather apt choice, considering that it is the same chipset that we were able to appreciate on the Redmi 7A and which will also animate the Redmi 8A sequel. The display is confirmed with HD + resolution (1520 x 720 pixels) with a density of 320 PPI, but fortunately Redmi 8 will have at least 3 GB of RAM from it while the onboard operating system is based on Android 9 Pie.

A data sheet that certainly will not make mircaolo shout, not as happened for POCOPHONE F1, but certainly the restyling of the device is quite important and modern, allowing even those on a limited budget not to be "ashamed" of their device anymore. Unfortunately there are still no rumors about an alleged presentation date, but certainly the company will not dedicate an entire event to the small Redmi 8, which could also be accompanied by a probable Redmi 8A Pro, an enhanced version that is rumored to be equipped with a Snapdragon 675 SoC.
