Along with the avalanche of gadgets we saw in this article, the giant of Chinese technology, Xiaomi, also presented the new series of entry-level smartphones branded Redmi. This includes the Redmi 9 that we already know, accompanied by the new Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A; let's find out more!
The Redmi 9 series is complete: Redmi 9A and 9C official also in Italy
Let's start with the cheapest of the three, or the Redmi 9A. The smartphone is equipped with a 6,53-inch diagonal Dot Drop display (with small upper round notch) certified for protection from low light intensity blue light by TÜV Rheinland.
The Redmi 9A arrives with the entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 chipset but which however should bring excellent performance especially for gaming, accompanied by a maximum of 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card up to 512GB.
The smartphone is then powered by a 5000mAh high capacity battery and is equipped with a 13MP rear camera optimized for AI, while in front we find a 5MP sensor for selfies, a headphone jack and an expandable memory up to 512GB.
The Redmi 9A will be available in the main distribution chains from the end of July in the colors Granite Gray, Peacock Green, Sky Blue at the price of € 119,90 in the 2GB + 32GB version. In addition, starting from September the Redmi 9AT variant will also arrive on the Italian market at the price of € 119,90 for the 2GB + 32GB version.
Now let's move on to the Redmi 9C, also equipped with a huge 6,53-inch diagonal Dot Drop display for an immersive visual experience and a 5000mAh high-capacity battery for unrivaled autonomy.
The Redmi 9C is equipped with another entry-level chipset produced by MediaTek of a slightly higher range, we are talking about a Helio G35. This is also an octa-core processor dedicated to gamers that can go up to a frequency of 2.3GHz.
As for the cameras, the device adopts a total of three cameras on the back with an artificial intelligence optimization. These cameras have a resolution of 13MP for the main one, 2MP for the macro camera and 2MP for the depth sensor. For selfies we find instead a 5MP sensor.
The Redmi 9C will be available in Italy from the beginning of September in Midnight Gray, Sunrise Orange, Twilight Blue colors at the price of € 149,90 for the version with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Finally we have the Redmi 9 that we already know but which is still part of the new 9 series. For the uninitiated, the Redmi 9 is the first entry-level smartphone with a quad-camera configuration on the back to be able to take the best images in any situation.
The smartphone has a 6,53-inch diagonal drop notch display with the resolution rising to FHD +. The display also comes with TÜV Rheinland certification, i.e. we have reduced blue light emissions and is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass technology, to reduce scratches to a minimum.
The Redmi 9 is powered by a clearly superior processor compared to the two younger brothers, it is in fact a MediaTek Helio G80. While as regards the photographic sector we have a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle, a 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies we will use an 8MP camera instead.
Finally, the Redmi terminal equips a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, sees a fingerprint sensor positioned just below the photographic compartment, a 3,5mm headphone jack, IR blaster and multifunction NFC, supports also use dual SIM and has a microSD card slot.
The Redmi 9 is already available for purchase in Italy in three different colors, Carbon Gray, Ocean Green, and Sunset Purple at € 149,90 for the 3GB + 32GB version.
