Today, as promised, the new entry level smartphones Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C debuted, classified as low-end devices but which stand out for their design and some mid-range specifications. The new terminals want to continue the partnership between the mother company Xiaomi and MediaTek, therefore adopting the processors of the Helio G series, in fact starting from the Redmi 9A we find the SoC MediaTek Helio G25, an octacore solution capable of reaching 2.0 GHz.
2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB of internal memory of the eMMC 5.1 type are expandable, expandable via micro SD card. Redmi 9A also offers an LCD screen with IPS technology and 6,53-inch HD + resolution, in which there is a drop notch that houses the 5 MP selfie camera.
Definitely more sober and perhaps anachronistic design on the rear where we find the presence of a single camera with 13 MP resolution accompanied by a LED flash arranged, arranged vertically. Autonomy will be the master with a battery of 5000 mAh while connectivity consists of single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C charging port, infrared and audio jack. NFC and fingerprint reader are absent.

In addition to the Redmi 9A, the company also presented Redmi 9C, which offers some more ideas in terms of specifications and design. In this case we find the same panel with 6,53-inch HD + resolution but on the rear we can instead admire a more modern design, thanks to the use of a photographic module consisting of 3 optics.
The adopted processor is the MediaTek Helio G35, octacore CPU clocked at 2,3 GHz which is associated with 2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB of internal storage eMMC 5.1, expandable via micro SD. Also confirmed the 5000 mAh battery as well as the single band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, infrared and audio jack but this time we find the presence of the fingerprint reader. The rear photographic compartment offers a 13 MP main camera supported by an 5 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP lens for the depth effect.
The new Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C arrive with MIUI 11 and Android 10 as well as Dual SIM functionality and will be available for purchase on July 7 for the Asian market in the only variant with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory :
- Redmi 9A 2 / 32GB : 359 RM, about 75 euros at the current exchange rate
- Redmi 9C 2 / 32GB : 428 RM, about 89 euros at the current exchange rate
