As demonstrated in recent years, India has now become a second home for Xiaomi and the different sub-brands such as Poco and Redmi. A few days ago we saw the presentation of the new one Poco X2 right in the Asian country, while now the time has come for a new terminal branded Redmi.

What smartphone are we talking about? Well we can't say for sure but the Xiaomi sub-brand could launch the competitor of the Realme C3 just presented in India. The device would be the successor of the Redmi 8A, or the Redmi 9A.
To suggest it was the Global VP of Xiaomi Group, Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter. Specifically, Kumar Jain shared a video in which he talks about the success of the latest Redmi 8A launched four months ago, adding that something new will be presented on February 11, 2020.
The news arriving today from India is also more interesting than usual as we typically have a device previously released in China which is then transformed into something different. A bit like we saw with the last one Poco X2, which was sold in China as Redmi K30 4G.

This time it should instead be a totally new product. In fact, there is no entry-level device recently presented in China in recent months. So the hypothetical smartphone will have a design and hardware never seen before, and could then also arrive in our country in the weeks to follow.
In any case, although we cannot say for sure what the specifications will be, if we go to see the competitor mentioned above, the Realme C3, it is easy to hypothesize some components. Starting from the processor, which could be a MediaTek Helio G70, therefore a really performing CPU for an economic device, the display could have a size of 6,5 inches, while the battery should remain on 5000mAh as for Redmi 8A.
Finally, as for the price. Redmi usually manages to be competitive as Realme that has the C3 with a starting price of 6999 Indian Rupees, around 90 euros, so we expect a very similar price.
