Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi A4 5G in the Indian market. The new device is a budget smartphone that offers respectable specifications and features. Here's everything you need to know about its hardware, price, availability, and more.
Redmi A4 5G Official with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Chip and 120Hz Display
The Redmi A4 5G comes with a large 6,88-inch LCD screen, characterized by one 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits.
Under the hood, the new budget phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. This chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and two internal storage options: 64GB or 128GB. Users can also expand the storage up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
The device is powered by a large battery 5.160mAh, which supports the 18W wired fast charging. On the back, the Redmi A4 5G features a main camera from 50 megapixel, flanked by a secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device has a front 5 megapixel camera. Despite its considerable weight of 212,35 grams, the phone is only 8,22 mm thick.
Other notable features of the Redmi A4 5G include Dual SIM support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3,5mm headphone jack, FM radio and Android 14 operating system with customized interface Xiaomi HyperOS preinstalled.
The Redmi A4 5G arrives in Two color options: Starry Black and Sparkle Purple. It is available in two memory configurations. The base version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at INR 8.499 (roughly Rs. 95), while the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs INR 9.499 (roughly Rs. 106). The sales of the A4 5G in India will begin on November 27, 2024. The device will be available for purchase on the brand's official website and Amazon India.
