Redmi Buds 3 Pro: The economical headphones with active noise reduction

Some time ago we talked about Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, or the latest headphones from the company that had to promise a screaming performance. Well, these have come but with another name. They are now official Redmi Buds 3 Pro, which differ from the previous ones in… nothing in reality. They are the same headphones but with a different name. In fact, each region has its own name. But having said that, let's go and see all the features of the new Redmi headphones complete with price.

In the field of wireless headphones if Xiaomi took its share of the cake on the entry level or mid-range models, it still lacked a function to attack the more than high-end: active noise reduction. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro they are not the first Xiaomi headphones to offer this feature but to be honest they could be the cheapest on the market. However there is a clarification to be made: although they support the ANC, i.e. active noise reduction, this feature is not usable by everyone. As reported on the site, in fact, only Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone owners with MIUI can use it.

Xiaomi's new wireless headphones take advantage of one hybrid function of active noise reduction, with bearings to ensure good passive insulation upstream. For Bluetooth, the Chinese company indicates that the headphones are compatible with it standard 5.2 of the wireless protocol and that allow a simultaneous connection to two sources, i.e. Bluetooth multipoint.

We learn that headphones weigh 4.9 grams each, that noise reduction reduces the sound volume by 35 dB, that the headphones incorporate a 9 mm diameter transducer and that the announced autonomy of the headphones is 6 hours with noise reduction disabled. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro headphones have just been announced but for now it is not yet clear when they will be offered in Italy and what price. I am anyway already proposals on AliExpress for less than 50 €.
