Le Redmi Buds 6S have been announced in China as the latest addition to the sub brand's growing range of audio accessories Xiaomi. These semi-in-ear earphones will be sold in China at a price price of only 199 yuan (25 euros).

The design of the Redmi Buds 6S is modern and minimalist, with a compact case in the shape of a small square box available in three elegant colors: Clear Snow White, Midnight Black and Starry Sea Blue.
From a technical point of view, the earphones boast14.2mm ultra-large dynamic drive and an ultra-large 0.45mm amplitude, features that earned them NetEase Cloud Audio's ultra-clear sound quality certification.
One of the most notable features of the Redmi Buds 6S is the support for semi-in-ear active noise reduction. With two noise reduction modes and the ability to adapt to your surroundings, these earphones are designed to deliver an immersive listening experience, free from the distractions of the outside world. There double AI noise reduction for calls and wind resistance up to 9m/s are particularly useful features for those who live in urban or windy environments.
As for sound effects, the Redmi Buds 6S support the SoundID custom sound effects, adaptive hearing optimization and spatial audio. The latter, in particular, is a feature that is becoming increasingly popular in high-end earphones, as it offers a three-dimensional audio experience that enhances immersion in movies, games and music.
The spatial audio function is currently supported by a number of smartphone models, including Redmi K70/Pro, Xiaomi 14/Pro/Ultra, Xiaomi 13/13 Pro/Ultra and Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, with further models being adapted. The SoundID custom sound effects feature is also available for devices like the Xiaomi 12, but both features are exclusive for smartphone use.
In terms of battery life, the Redmi Buds 6S delivers up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 33 hours of overall battery life when used with their charging case.
Other features include support for Xiaomi Hyper Connect for audio streaming, intelligent dual-device connection and compatibility with the Xiaomi Headphones app.
