New Redmi with 67W charging certified in China

As most of you will be, Apple recently officially released the new generation of new iPhone 13 series devices. Although the devices have a smaller notch and higher refresh rate at least in the Pro version screen, the charging specification rapid is still at 20W.

New Redmi with 67W charging certified in China

Given the progress in the field of charging, the 20W of the iPhone 13 cannot even be called fast charging. A charging so slow that even the next newly certified Redmi smartphone is a sliver in comparison. The latest from China let us know that a 67W wired fast charging smartphone has been certified, therefore essentially three times faster than the latest iPhone 13.

There isn't much information on this new device at the moment, but several reports suggest it will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. It should also be a very affordable model with a price in China of around 2000 yuan, about 260 euros at the exchange rate.

Recall that in the first half of the year Redmi launched the Gaming Edition of the Redmi K40, which is equipped with the Dimensity 1200 processor, currently the most powerful flagship chip in the MediaTek field. The SoC adopts 6nm EUV technology and has high performance and very low power consumption.

At the same time, the Gaming version of the Redmi K40 is Redmi's first 67W fast charging model.

Before its launch, there was news that Redmi also had a new smartphone equipped with Dimensity 1100, but this never came. The device should have come with a centered single-hole screen, high refresh rate, 2400 * 1080p resolution, a battery of around 5000mAh and support for 67W fast charging. Finally, the main rear camera should have had a resolution of 64MP.

So it is possible that the newly certified smartphone is the one we saw several months ago with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 on board.
